<p>작년 금감원은 소액결제 현금화 등 불법금융광고를 방송통신심의위원회에 신청해 사이트 폐쇄와 게시글 삭제, 계정 중지 등을 결정했지만 ‘언론 보도에는 대응하지 않았다. 금감원 직원은 “언론의 보도는 선전으로 규정할 수는 없어 보여서 판단하기 힘든 면이 있다”고 했다.</p>
<p>‘소액결제 현금화 산업은 불법이다. 정보통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스이용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용되도록 한 후 이용자가 구매·이용한 재화등을 할인하여 매입하는 행위에 ‘8년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처하도록 규정하고 있습니다.</p>
